This is such a fun little adventure with Percy and Grover. I love the two of them together!!

There are a couple of plot inconsistencies that made me very confused, so I need Richard to explain himself. This story is supposed to take place post-The Last Olympian (so post-Percy’s 16th birthday on August 18), but there are a couple of parts that suggest that this story is taking place in the spring?? Percy mentions that Blackjack isn’t around because it’s Pegasus mating season in the spring. Also, it is supposed to be Grover’s birthday which is apparently June 1st, but that wouldn’t make sense with the timeline of The Heroes of Olympus series. We also know that this definitely takes place after Last Olympian because Percy refers to Annabeth as his girlfriend multiple times (🤭🤭). So anyways, my guess is that this actually is happening in September, but then I really don’t know when Grover’s birthday is canonically. Oh well!
