- one of those books that is actually a fun ride if u don't take it *too* seriously. If you stop thinking too hard about plot holes, you actually get to enjoy this.
- no big "plot twist" (everything kinda went the way I expect it to), which isn't bad per-se, but if you're looking for a huge plot twist this really isn't the book.
- mcu like characters where they're almost indistinguishable between one another? They're all just sarcastic lol
- I wished they'd describe the kaijus in a bit more detail so I can set the scene better in my head; but that might just be a me problem, I like it better when authors are descriptive of creatures esp when it's not from our world. The whole time I just imagined kaijus from tokusatsu and the like whenever possible lol
