I struggled with whether to rate this a 4.5 or 5, so I’m just going to go high.
I’ve said this in previous reviews: f I find myself excited to pick up a book everyday, have a good time reading it, can’t put it down and prioritize reading it over other activities, it’s a 5. Even if it’s not a literary masterpiece/groundbreaking.
This had such a unique premise and I honestly had no idea where the story was going. I couldn’t come up with any kind of theory even. I do think the pacing was a bit off in some parts but that’s such a small criticism.
This was my first Sally Hepworth and I am looking forward to reading more from her!
