Everything I Know About Love by Dolly Alderton
funny
lighthearted
reflective
slow-paced
3.5
"Nearly everything I know about love, I've learnt from my long-term friendships with women".
It took me a long time to get into this book, I thought sections were boring at times and sometimes confusing.
However, I did find myself enjoying the latter half of the book a lot more, particularly seeing Dolly's life unfold and witnessing her personal progression and growth.
I think me and Dolly do not have a lot in common, personally I was hoping for the book to touch more on friendship and that kind of platonic love. However I appreciated the candid nature of this book and this account of womanhood.
