I am so frustrated. I read this because it kept showing up on a list of “scariest books of all time.” It was not. It was annoying and ridiculous. I hated reading anything with Johnny. I hated every character in this book except Tom and knew how that would end hundreds of pages before it finally did. I’m pissed that I wasted so much time on this. I call this abstract art. Some people see it as something complex and amazing, but is it just a scribble on paper? Unfortunately, I think this is just a scribble.
