Down Among the Sticks and Bones by Seanan McGuire
5.0
And on that last sentence, Seanan McGuire became one of my faves.
Her writing and world building excels in saying so much in just the right amount of words. There’s nothing like being engaged in the story and to also feel motivated to research into the author’s peculiar choice of words. It’s just the best linguistic treat.
Towards the end of the book I felt myself looking for references to EHAD and I was very (Jack would frown upon my word choice) satisfied with how McGuire connected both stories.
Nancy, Jack and Jill forevel! ♥️
PS. and that’s how you do visibility and representation!
