Zen Mind, Beginner's Mind: Informal Talks on Zen Meditation and Practice
by Shunryu Suzuki
Zen Mind is now the 6th book I have read, or at least started, on Zen Buddhism since the beginning of the year. And, I think it's time I stopped trying to find books that might explain what things like "good and bad are the same" mean (this makes no sense to me) and maybe instead find a human who can answer in-the-moment questions. Zen Mind repeats many of the same tales and priorities of the other books I have read related to the philosophy/religion and does a very good job to using easy to understand language and examples for many of the ideas. So, it is a fine example of the genre.
