I didn't know going in that this was a religious romance story, so it was a bit too much for my liking. Other than that it was really predictable (everything was almost hammered in so that there wouldn't be any mystery to how the story would go) and too much telling instead of showing (saying they shared a passionate kiss instead of showing how they kissed doesn't really do anything for me, and that's the most romance there was). The epilogue sounded interesting, but the actual story was a bit boring. It wasn't the worst book I've ever read, but it wasn't anything special either.

Tha audio version was also sometimes hard to listen to, since the narrator didn't switch character voices pretty much at all to show who was talking at a time.
