It was super fun, and I enjoyed reading it but sometimes I found the writing a teensy bit repetitive (the same facts or statements came up a few times). It also felt like there was a lot of focus on developing the romance, and tbh it annoyed me a little (romance is going to be the last thing on ur mind when ur in the middle of a temple riddled with booby traps. That's all I'm saying). Also, look. Maybe it was a little predictable for me.
But it was fun! And I didn't have to think too hard, so it was a nice book to end the year on!
