The first chapter book I completed reading to my son, Reuben. Roald Dahl's "James and the Giant Peach" is an all time classic adventure. I can't remember if I ever read this story as a kid but I now see where Pixar got some of its inspiration for its fantastic film "Up". James floats away on a giant peach with an assortment of characters across the Atlantic Ocean in order to land on the Empire State Building in America. Cool characters and imaginative fun!
