This was a really sweet and fun graphic novel. I love a good graphic novel. I can definitely see this one being a good one for younger readers, too. The art and story were both lovely. My favorite character, no surprise, was Doruk. I think there is definitely room made for this to become a series, maybe a trilogy, based on where the plot left off and all--it seems--there is left to do in this world. Probably one of my favorite parts of this was how the author set part of it at Petra, Jordan, or at least a place that looks like it. It seems to absolutely fit in the world and give it a feeling of otherworldliness but also make it feel like it was definitely meant to be there, if that makes sense. Anyway, good story. I would read the second, if there were one.
