Okay, so I was convinced to read this by the most random of circumstances, and found out later that this is what the Supergirl movie will be based on.

I was pleasantly surprised by this story. A journey through the cosmos about patience, perseverance, and kindness, Supergirl is really HER. The strength that the Supergirl displays in both restraint and when throwing hands!!! I am really excited to see how they bring this to the screen.

My only criticism of the story is that Ruthye narration is sometimes a little wordy, you really just have to follow her tangents to get to the point of what is being said. Other than that, I genuinely enjoyed this story and the pace, though could be considered slow, works for the themes of the story.

Different from other comic book stories in the best way, very much the journey is the destination, rather than conquering/defeating an enemy.
