Knife: Meditations After an Attempted Murder
by Salman Rushdie
The author starts the book describing 27 seconds when he was violently stabbed. It got my attention and the rest of the book was intriguing in all sorts of ways.
Salman Rushdie put a lot of thought into this book. It’s brilliantly written with what he and his wife, Eliza, personally went through after the attack. He described the physical pain which was insanely horrible. Of course, it changed him; it changed his family and his thoughts on paper. He said he has a second chance and will make the most of it.
Highly recommended.
