I could not get through this because:

NoT LiKe OtHeR gIrLs (who are, to a one, vapid, shallow sluts). I haaaaaate this bullshit - romance writers, please, why do you hate women so fucking much??? About twice every single page we had to be reminded that every other “girl” (never woman) is a nasty skank and the FMC is a perfect goddess without trying. Miss me with that, please.
The MMC has a small handful of moves that he uses in various combinations: (1) crowding the FMC and getting in her personal space while (2) being so close their lips brush while talking or (3) whispering in her ear and/or (4) grabbing her throat. It’s actually hilarious. Don’t use these moves as a drinking game, you will not live past the first few chapters.

I love trashy novels but this one is actual garbage.
