Another great book. The format of the journal works really well. It’s packed with funny anecdotes, rails against big corporations and touching stories.
I’d read Sean’s other journal first (Confessions of a Bookseller) but don’t think that the reading order made a big difference.
The excerpts from Orwell at the beginning of each month prompted me to read the whole essay. I also found myself making a list of the books that are mentioned by the author. Increasing my ‘Want to Read’ list …although NOT ‘The History of Orgies’
