this book was so great!! i will say though, it was very slow for the first 100 pages or so, but afterwards it picked up pace pretty quickly. the ending made me cry; i had a feeling that was coming, but i really wish it didn’t happen. the plot was also really entertaining and kept me wondering what was going to happen next. i’m super excited to see what’s going to happen in the next book, in the afterlight !!

the characters in this series are incredible. they all had such good character development and the new side characters were amazing as well! tbh vida annoyed me sometimes, but i really loved jude. i do wish we got to see zu though! i’m definitely glad i read the novella before this because she was in there. i also loved chubs in this book. he grew so much as a character!!

i’ll be honest, i preferred liam and ruby’s romance in the first book, but i did still enjoy it in this one!! i love how they just get each other. they don’t need words to communicate their thoughts, all they have to do is look at one another and they know exactly what they’re feeling. so, those are my thoughts on this book!! tysm for reading <3
