one of the most satisfying endings to a series i’ve ever read.

though i found some issues with the pacing and some scenes highly unnecessary, i still enjoyed how neatly “the queen of nothing” closed all of the arcs built up in the previous books. i wish we saw more of some characters, but i’m happy with the story we got.

the entire series was a whirlwind of chaos and magic, of trickery and scheming and romance, but i have to say that “the folk of the air” has become one of the most wonderful series i have ever read, and that i will hold this story very dear to my heart for days to come.

long live the high queen and high king of elfhame.
