Second House from the Corner by Sadeqa Johnson

4.0

Second House from the Corner is a story of when the ghosts of someone's past haunts their present and threatens their future. Felicia Lyons thinks she wants a way out of her stay at home life raising her three kids and catering to her husband. This is the perfect example of be careful what you wish for. One phone call gives Felicia her out, but not the way she wants it. Felicia is forced to return home to Philadelphia to deal with the ghosts of her past. Second House from the Corner is an great read. Johnson does a wonderful job of speaking the mind of a mother of three and being at witt's end. Second House from the Corner is funny, emotional, suspenseful, and maintains a grip on reality.
