I found this a little slow to start with but as it's the first book in a fantasy series, I would expect that. World building is something that takes time and as soon as I was past the first hurdle, I couldn't put it down. I really enjoyed it and safe to say, I'm obsessed with The Darkling 😍😍 I can't wait to read the rest of the books!
