I liked the book, but found it hard to get myself into.
It fell a bit flat for me, since I feel there was some parts that I wanted to see more of.
I know all doesn’t have to involve Fort, and I haven’t read the first book, so it’s not because of attachment to earlier characters. I did find it lacking in the studio department. Of course it would be bland to hear about it non stop, but to not hear it at all almost other than from west’s perspective? I think I just must have had some other idea of it in my head.
I did like that she had taken the time to write two songs, even though I could only imagine one of them to be one I would listen to.
The last thing I want to point out of the things I think could be better, was the grammar.
I know I don’t have the perfect grammar- English is my second language.
But since the author must have had it proof read, I can’t see how all of 6 grammar mistakes that was for example that she had typed the same word twice right after the other. Of course some words do that, but this was if I remember correctly “were”. Some other grammar mistakes was present to where the sentence just was weirdly written.
Either way, it was still a fun read. It was a good relaxing book, to read if you have read something g right paced and need to settle your mind down.
The whole vibe of the book is cozy, and essentially the meaning of the book is quite nice.
