This friends to lovers, accidentally pregnancy was a lot of fun.

After being friends for years, Garrett and Lizzie eventually blur the line of that friendship. Not wanting an awkward goodbye, Lizzie leaves in the middle of the night. Soon after, she discovers that she is pregnant with Garrett's baby with no clue how to tell him. They both grew up in Chicago, so that was all Lizzie knew, but Garrett recently got traded in the NHL and had to relocate to Vegas.

Eventually, Lizzie swallows her pride and decides that she needs to tell Garrett because he deserves to know and she has put it off for nearly three months. When Lizzie tells Garrett she is pregnant, he doesn't immediately know how to react because she has been ignoring his calls for the past few months. Garrett knows this is his responsibility and together, he and Lizzie decide they need to give this a try, at least for the baby she is carrying.

I loved seeing how much Garrett cared and how easy is was for Lizzie to do what was right once everything was out in the open. Seeing them together, you could see that their connection and relationship were just so easy.

I do wish we got to see Lizzie and Garrett more as parents, but the book focused more on the pregnancy than it did after the birth. Overall it was still a fun time, I am happy I got to see how their story turned out after the first novella that introduced them.
