"No matter what you do, no matter what kind of life you live, good or bad or somewhere in between, it's always going to be waiting for you. From the moment you're born, you're dying."

Hmm, for a book that wants to prompt us to explore the meaning of life, how to deal with grief, and think about death, it's not as profound as I expected it to be.

I felt the story was too drawn out, I didn't feel excited, and I was just waiting for it to end. But since I love Klune's humor, I laughed a lot of times and I adore all the characters.

However, the discussion between Wallace and the Manager about humanity made me cringe so hard! Gosh! I can't count how many times I encountered stories with humans using "human emotions" as an "argument" to defend the human race against the divine.

So yeah, this book is not for me.
