Thanks Hambright PR for the e-ARC in exchange for an honest review!

This was a fun read! I really enjoyed the Christmas competition that was happening and I liked the characters. There's great dialogue, too. The Christmas vibes were immaculate.
I did think this was a bit too long for a lighthearted romcom. Yes, there were some deeper topics discussed that gave us character backstory, but I do think it could have been condensed just a tad. I found myself losing interest about 70% in and just wanting to know the characters' fate and how the competition played out.
The candy stuff was... interesting, to say the least.
There was some miscommunication and third act breakup that happened at the last 5% of the story which... why??? It felt very unnecessary. The whole ending felt very rushed to me.
Overall, this was a cute, spicy Christmas romcom that any romcom lover would enjoy.
