Did not finish book. Stopped at 61%.

I'm sorry but I just couldn't finish this book. I even checked it out of the library twice; when I returned it the first time, I figured I just hadn't finished it because of life stuff getting in the way (which was true to be fair). But even when I had time to read it, I just couldn't get past halfway through. The concept is interesting, and I love the "I am an egg" line dearly, but the characters fell flat and the pacing is all over the place. It started so strongly too... idk I'm just so disappointed.
