Further Tales of the City by Armistead Maupin

3.0

Daddy’s home: book three and Uncle Armistead is still on form, with plenty of exciting adventure as Mary Ann, Mouse, Mrs Madrigal, DeDe and Brian deal with a Jonestown mind, missing twins, and a trip to the Diomedes. Along the way they encounter society columnist with a secret, Prue Giroux, plus religious entertainment personality Father Paddy Starr, and manage to imprison a tv news anchor in the basement at 28 Barbary Lane. Still just as readable, funny and warm as ever, mutiple rereadings on, and a super lockdown choice to whisk you away to another place and time.
