Technically a DNF but I'm counting it because I stopped 10 pages from the end. When he raped his aunt.

It does get 2 stars instead of 1 because the middle third of the book was really engaging for me. And broadly, I love the scope of this novel and I love magical realism and I adore the multigenerational and cyclical narrative, but some parts of the book were boring and others were just gross. I need a shower honestly.
