In The Battle of the Labyrinth, Percy and Annabeth take on the task of trying to find Daedalus' workshop in the center of the infamous Labyrinth.

They obviously run into a plethora of problems along the way and have to seek help from some of the most unlikely sources.

The addition of Rachel Elizabeth Dare into this series is one of Rick Riordan's best moves.

Her character gives readers insight into how demigods and mortals typically interact, and how the Labyrinth actually works, and shines a whole new light on Percy and Annabeth's feelings for one another.

I swear, Rick Riordan just can't write a bad(ly written) character.
