Private Equity: A Memoir by Carrie Sun

reflective medium-paced
The first half of this memoir had me riveted and I really enjoyed learning about something that I know *absolutely* nothing about. I don’t fully know why the second half lost me but maybe because it felt a bit repetitive in that Carrie couldn’t break free from her toxic boss, work environment, ex, or her parents. I was empathetic to her situation and I think it started to emotionally drain me but I’m so glad that I stuck around for the end.
