Listen, I had fun lol.
I had a feeling about what I was getting into with this book and there was more plot than I expected littered between sex scenes. It's still VERY sex heavy, so if that's not your thing this book definitely isn't for you.
There were some scenes I loved A LOT (anything with the claw and the whole ritual lol ). There was some stuff I wasn't particularly jonesed about (I was very much not satisfied with Leo's ending and didn’t necessarily feel that things wrapped up completely with Rowe either ) that made my star rating oscillate between 3 or 4 stars. I got to the 3/4 mark and was honestly pretty fed up with Caspen. His inability to be honest and forthright (for a being whose whole thing is that they can't lie) really started to get on my nerves.
Overall, I felt like I was left with unanswered questions. I'm curious as well to see how this turns into a series, since I was under the impression it was a standalone. Will we continue with the characters we know or will we get a new group? Will some of my questions be answered? Either way I'd try another book by Lindsay Straub!
