I grew up in and around people who pretty much disliked people like Michelle Obama. They bought into all of the made up stories about her and never talked kindly about her. I am happy that I was able to over the last few years separate myself from that indoctrination and have been able to start thinking for myself.
This was an excellent book and I am so happy I took the time to listen to it. It was very motivational and inspirational. While also doing a great job of challenging my thought process on things I cannot understand because I am white.
Do I recommend this? Yes! I even challenge those who have thought negatively about this woman to take a listen too, you might actually learn something.
