My one teensy-tiny complaint, well not even complaint; more observation really - is that the author had a difficult time making the American characters speak like Americans. They still used British phrases and manners of speech. I had to look back a couple of times to make sure that Mrs. DeWitt wasn't a Brit because of the way the author had her phrase some of her dialogue. Again, just an observation. I utterly loved this story. In fact, I loved the entire trilogy.
