The Christmas Heirloom: Four Holiday Novellas of Love Through the Generations by Karen Witemeyer, Sarah Loudin Thomas, Kristi Ann Hunter, Becky Wade

4.0

I really enjoyed the four novellas contained in this Christmas Heirloom compilation. The story of a family brooch is told through four different time periods beginning in the Regency period and ending in modern times. In each story, the brooch plays a role in how the romances begin and a legend begins to surround the brooch as it is passed down from mother to daughter. This is one of the few compilations where each story is interesting and captures your attention. This is probably because each of the writers is extremely talented in their own right. I loved the continuity between the stories and how the brooch was incorporated into each one. I should mention that I listened to the audiobook version and enjoyed each of the narrators. Highly recommend!
