A Man Called Ove by Fredrik Backman

This book is so bittersweet and warm. This is the book one needs to read if one wants a good cry while being held close in a hug. It’s a story of someone who seems so grumpy on the surface but is just a man steeled with grief and loneliness. All the characters in the book are either too nice or too bad but the benefit of that is the emotions we feel are pretty clear as well.
The story unfolds in a well paced and beautiful manner, not that there are many surprises - just anticipation. I absolutely loved the writing style, so simple, witty and relatable.
I ended this book with a feeling of contentment and a full heart, just like you would after a long conversation with a dear friend.
