Good finish to the series that ties in well with the feel of the first three book rather than the last two.

Content warnings include: a/b/o setting, mpreg, unplanned pregnancy, toxic work/life balance and work environment, bullying, hacking, mild violence, pregnancy complication scare sex on-page, semi public sex, age difference (20/mid-thirties?); mentions of past abusive relationship.

I was wary of the whole best friend's son/dad's best friend setting thing - I'm not sure if knowing Damien and Matthew as side characters throughout the entire series made that better or worse. Ultimately it was handled well, if very insta-love/-lust.
Though I disliked the way Damien/Knot tended to talk about how it all happened, he was always respectful to Matthew and clearly cared about him.

I liked the way this book concluded the series. Not only were the Single Dad interactions more frequent and with more at stake this time around, they also brought the series to its end wonderfully. And the mystery around Damien's child(ren) is finally lifted!

Again, I feel like the characters should have talked about some important things some more, but it wasn't too bad. I had a hard time keeping track of Damien's family, since non of them were mentioned before and the relationships were explained at no point.

Despite the series' drawbacks, I ultimately had a great time reading it.
