Rogue Protocol by Martha Wells
3.75
I enjoyed this installment a little better than the last. It’s mostly more of the same—with Murderbot encountering new humans, bots, and constructs, and proceeding to muse on his often strained interactions with them. In this story, I appreciated that he revisited his focus on the relationships he formed in the first book—taking on a mission in which he tries to clear the woman who freed him of some trouble she appears to have gotten into. It’s a fast-moving continuation of the series, and I definitely recommend read it if you’ve made it this far!
