Phoebe Dupree Is Coming to Tea! by Linda Ashman

5.0

Abby wants everything to be perfect for the upcoming tea party. She washes the dog, sets the table and puts on her fanciest accessories. When one little accident spoils the elegance, will Abby be able to recover enough composure to still have fun?

Having celebrated many a tea party with a certain little perfectionist, I know how difficult it can be for children to accept that things don't always go according to plan. Learning to Improvise is a great life skill, and I'm delighted that this book shares it so well.
