Jinx by Meg Cabot
When you read a Meg Cabot book, you pretty much know what you're going to get. Underdog girl ends up getting the guy that she is really Just Friends with but can't go out with because of (insert roadblock). In this particular book there's also some allegations of withcraft thrown in, but really, same character as any other Meg Cabot book. Not that I'm complaining.
Interesting note: she tries to keep current on trends, which means that books written 5 years ago--this one was copyright 2007--already seem somewhat dated. The boy was typing on his Treo? When was the last time you head that?
