Stretched Too Thin: How Working Moms Can Lose the Guilt, Work Smarter, and Thrive by Jessica N. Turner

4.0

I received this book from the publisher as part of Jessica's Launch Team. However, I would have paid for this book twice over if needed. As a working mother of one sweet little toddler, Jessica's words spoke to me, as in she wrote this book personally for me. I wear lots of hats (as a lot of mamas do): mother, wife, employee, volunteer, friend, daughter...the list goes on. As many of you know, hat juggling could be an Olympic sport. This book gave me practical tips on how to do it all without feeling like I'm doing it all. The pages were filled with suggestions that I could implement immediately. But I think even more importantly, Jessica asked you to reflect at the end of each chapter. She asked a series of questions about each chapter topic so that you could assess the status quo of your life. Only after you take a reflective look at your life can begin to bring about change. I highly recommend this book to any working mother - part time, full time, from home, MLM, ANY TYPE OF WORK.
