I absolutely loved this. I am becoming quite the sucker for BookTok recommendations and whilst there have been some that I have been unimpressed with, Mile High is not one of them and I cannot wait to delve into the rest of the series.

Evan Zanders plays hockey for the Chicago Raptors and Stevie Shay is the team's new flight attendant. Zanders has a bad boy persona to live up to, in stark contrast to his friend and teammate Eli Maddison who has settled down with a wife and two children.

Zanders is instantly taken with Stevie, especially as she is one of the very few women who doesn't want to give him the time of day. When I first started reading this book, I did not think Zanders would be a character that I'd like but that depth of character is fantastic.

Mile High has everything you could want in a romance novel; gorgeous chemistry, spice, he falls first (my personal favourite), forbidden love but the inner traumas that both Zanders and Stevie have are brilliantly written. We really get to explore Zanders and understand him whilst I felt I related a lot to Stevie.

I am not a fan of a third act break up or miscommunication and I felt like this section went on a bit too long for me. It felt refreshing to read a romance novel where the female main character wasn't a skinny white girl too! All in all, it is worth the hype in my opinion.
