4.25! Lots of aspects I thoroughly enjoyed. It’s a wild ride from start to finish, but one I was happy to be on. The characters were extremely interesting (particularly some introduced later on), and the events of the story captivating. I’m certain there are hundreds of different interpretations of the meaning of Kafka & Nakato’s journey, that perhaps smarter people can ponder. At times in the last 20% I became slightly tired with the meandering nature of the story, particularly with Kafka’s chapters. Overall a very fascinating book.
