Tessa Bailey is one of my favorite authors. This one was cute and simple but nothing to write home about. Smaller town, baseball, home improvement vibes although that's mostly to the wayside. Something about it didn't fully grasp my attention like a lot of her other novels have. It still scratched the itch though. I am a sucker for the fake dating trope and groveling. I have a few other books to read in between but I will be reading the rest of the series.
