The Light Through the Leaves by Glendy Vanderah

4.0

I’m all for a happy ending, right. This book just resolved a bit too perfectly. In reality, that wouldn’t happen. Maybe some of the bits would be resolved but not literally every single piece would be wrapped up with a nice bow on top. I loved the realness and emotions that were exhibited throughout because many people can relate. Finding one’s identity is a constant work in progress and I feel that this book did a good job conveying that. We are people and life is hard. We make mistakes but sometimes we can make amends. If the ending wasn’t so much of a Hallmark movie ending, I would have given it 5/5
