It is one of the most important books I have ever read. I was born in 1973, and by the time I was old enough to learn about Viet Nam, we were on our way to Iraq. I learned so much reading this story and am eager to dig in and learn all I can about that era. It seems we don't learn from the past - it's a hard pill to swallow. I am so grateful for people who tell their stories and for the writers who bring them to life. Thank you to all who have served. πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έβ™₯οΈπŸ™
