Oh. Em. Geeeeee!!!
I wasn’t sure what to expect when I picked up Vows Forged in Blood but it blew away my expectations.
Dahlia is a kickass FMC who gives Merida vibes (thank you Disney for the pint of reference lol). Yes, she’s human and yes, she’s been picked to be the consort to a vampire but she never once loses sight of who she is. I enjoyed watching her blossom and grow into her role and her destiny.
Alaric is the broody youngest of 17. The idea that he has to follow tradition is enough to make him want to hide in the wilderness. But fate has so much more in store for him.
An absolutely fantastic story with great world building and just enough spice to make their romance feel genuine.
