kvcatnip 's review for:
I was recommended this book as part of a program I was doing. Let me say this: the slight edge DOES work.
Small steps daily do get you to where you need to be. Small steps taken are the difference in continuing to move forward and eventually find your footing, and collapsing in with self-doubt and fear. I do, very much, agree with the principle.
The book, however, (and often the author) were a bit much. It was easily 100 pages too long. The author (though TRYING to relate) was very much coming from a rich, white man perspective. That made reading it often cringe inducing.
Do I recommend it? Sure. I listened to it in bite sized pieces (a chapter a day, only on work days, while I got ready for work.) I also listened to it on 1.5x speed. God speed, friends. Good luck.
