Doctor Who: The Tenth Doctor Vol. 1: Revolutions of Terror by Nick Abadzis

3.0

I had super high hopes for this. I mean, it's a TENTH DOCTOR GRAPHIC NOVEL. WITH A LATINA PROTAGONIST!!!

Sadly, it didn't live up to my hopes. It was...overly wordy a lot of the time, and it was a little hard to follow. The book is actually two completely different stories that didn't fit together in any way. I mean, it's Doctor Who, so you'd totally expect two episodes to be totally unrelated. But for some reason, when they're bound into a single volume, it was jarring.

Anyway. Gabby is a fun character. I liked the art. The cover is pretty damned great. I liked the second story better than the first. That's pretty much all the thoughts I can muster up at this point.
