Glitch Feminism: A Manifesto by Legacy Russell

2.0

I think this book should be considered more of an art piece with a feminist slant than a serious feminist text that can translate to the real world, or AFK as the Russell refers to it. Definitely some meaningful and valuable ideas and commentary around how the digital can be used to explore and deconstruct gender. But thought Russell got too bogged down in the online side of things with plenty of unclear metaphors throughout—would’ve appreciated a greater focus on carrying these ideas in the material world.
