I feel so frustrated by this book! The book spends too much time description the murderous temptations of the vampire, pivots to another woman’s life struggles, and then merges the two in the final third of the book — extremely clumsily and inconsistently with the rest of the plot. I felt as if the plot development was written by another author who had not read the first part. I wish it wasn’t so jumbled and so smashed together so incoherently. I was waiting for the movement where things would tie together but in the end it was just one knot.
