Crash Into You by Roni Loren

5.0

I don't normally read erotic romance, but as a writer of upmarket women's fiction, I thought it would be good for me to push beyond my comfort zone. I discovered Roni Loren on Twitter, and she had a lot of smart things to say. I read the book excerpt on Amazon, found it exceedingly well-written, but felt some trepidation with the subject matter. A few weeks later, though, I still couldn't get the book off my mind. So I bought it, read it, and loved it. The characters are so real that the plot is almost secondary. The sex is closely tied to the plot and the character arc, so it never seems gratuitous. This is beautifully crafted novel, and the quality of the writing is surprisingly mature for a debut.
