It was nice that question were finally answered however

why the loss of power.. especially for a man and then the „I give you have of mine“ why not gaining her own power back, and wasn’t she more powerful before and then having half of his. I just really dislike loss of newly found power that the protagonist wanted to have and grew into over the course of the book
